1. Variant: The band plays during the day and accompanies the event mainly musical background. In doing so, it adapts flexibly to the content of the event.
In the evening, for example, a DJ can take over.


2. Variant: The band gives a concert. For this, she needs enough time for a soundcheck, a retreat, a stage with lighting, as well as a dance floor in the immediate vicinity.

WHAT DOES IT COST ME?

Thecost of a performance of Music For The Kitchen depends mainly on the amount of time spent, which is thus connected to the musicians as a whole. This also includes travel times, waiting times, set-up and sound check. Added to this are VAT, travel expenses and overnight expenses.

WHEN DOES THE BAND COME?

The band is very punctual and arrives in time for the time previously discussed. For mistrustfuls, the possibility of bandtracking is also offered on request, ie you can track the current position of the band on the internet on a map.

HOW LONG DURING INSTALLATION AND REMOVAL?

For the construction of the instruments and sound system, as well as a sound check, the band needs between 15 and 90 minutes depending on the situation. The complete removal takes about 30 minutes. Of course, the stage can be cleared within a few minutes.

DOES THE BAND BRING THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT?

Yeah, usually. Musik For The Kitchen will be happy to provide technical support for your event and provide the appropriate sound reinforcement. The sound system of the band can also be used for speeches or moderations, admission, breaks and accompanying music. The latter can also take over the band for the duration of their presence.
The system is not suitable for use by a DJ, as it is designed for acoustic instruments. For larger events, the organizer must provide an appropriate facility.

WHAT DO THE MUSICIANS EAT?

Catering should be appropriate according to the time spent. A band member feeds mainly vegetarian food, otherwise there are no food allergies. But the musicians are quite happy about good food, which goes beyond the grey sandwiches and chocolate bars!

As a rule of thumb, one should be able to offer the food for the musicians without hesitation to his own mother-in-law.

HOW MUCH SPACE DOES THE BAND NEED?

Ideally, the band requires an area of 4m x 3m (width x depth) or even less space if necessary. It is reported that the musicians had already played in a bathtub, but it was already late and not very comfortable.

For open-air events, a roofing is necessary in case of bad weather. A free parking space or at least a short-term parking space in the immediate vicinity of the venue is necessary. 

The musicians are looking forward to a retreat/backstage - for events with longer waiting times this is even obligatory.

WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE?

The band is experienced, independent, flexible and punctual, so that you as organizer have to take care of as little as possible!
The exact schedule of the event and the use of the band will be discussed with you in advance. The band can also react spontaneously to unforeseen situations.

WHAT POWER SUPPLY DOES THE PA NEED?

A 220V power supply close to the stage is advantageous, but the musicians can also bring a battery pack with them on request and play practically anywhere. The band's equipment can accommodate up to 100 people, depending on location and circumstances. For larger events, an additional system (PA) and usually lighting must be provided.
The band can bring a sound engineer with them if necessary. 

WHAT ABOUT THE OVERNIGHT STAY?

If the musicians are too far away from home, they need accommodation after the performance.
The band is used to a lot of things. There are former boy scouts, hippies and journeymen among the band members, i. e. the accommodation does not necessarily have to take place in a hotel, but should be dry. Otherwise, the same applies as for catering.

Depending on the event, there should be a possibility of storing musical equipment dry and above all safe until the following day.
